Separate material prices from installed work

Ask for separate lines for film and labor, paint preparation, existing-wrap removal, trim removal, custom printing and tax. A material-only price cannot be compared directly with an installed project.

If one quotation is unusually low, check its exclusions. The same finish name does not establish the same film product, panel coverage, preparation or warranty.

Show the shop your hood, bumpers and body kit

Send the year and trim with front, side and rear photographs. Include close-ups of a widebody kit, spoiler, vents or aftermarket panels. Ask the shop how those areas affect its proposed work instead of inferring a standard surcharge from a model.

Choose whether the hood matches the body, keeps its current finish or receives a separate design. Mark boundaries at the grille, roof and trunk, and agree likely seam locations before approving the layout.

Define door openings and former fleet graphics

For a sedan, distinguish visible exterior coverage with the doors closed from coverage inside the door openings. Ask for both scopes if you are undecided so the difference is explicit.

If the vehicle previously carried fleet graphics, send photographs after removal and request a surface inspection. A digital color study cannot establish the condition of the exposed paint.

What does the current Charger preview represent?

Make the quotes comparable.

Send the same brief to the installers you are considering:

• Vehicle year, generation, trim, modifications and clear photos.
• Exact film brand, product code, finish and physical sample choice.
• Panel coverage, edges and jambs, hardware removal, and surfaces left exposed.
• Preparation, old-film removal, repairs, design, printing and lamination.
• Tax, final total, deposit terms, timing, warranty and a damaged-panel replacement price.
